eSolar Scores $40M Investment From GE

General Electric has beefed up its solar portfolio thanks to a significant strategic investment in eSolar, the solar thermal developer backed by Bill Gross’s Idealab. Yesterday, GE said it would invest $40 million in eSolar, further strengthening an existing strategic agreement for GE to deploy eSolar’s solar technology into its “integrated solar combined cycle” power plants….
