In 2010 New Investments In Clean Energy Reached $243B

Global investments across the whole renewable energy spectrum surged 30 percent in 2010, largely supported by record investments into China. In 2010 clean energy investments peaked to $243 billion, from $186.5 billion in 2009 and $180.1 billion in 2008, according to figures compiled by market research firm Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF).
