Q-Cells Appoints New CEO to Head Thin-Film Sub
Florian Holzapfel, CEO of Calyxo
German PV cell maker Q-Cells has appointed Florian Holzapfel as CEO of its Calyxo subsidiary, which manufacturers thin-film solar modules.
In his new position, Holzapfel will, among other things, seek to secure financing to scale production at Calyxo, reports PVSociety.com.
Earlier this year, Holzapfel launched Q-Cells’ new technologies division and since December 2006, he was responsible for the technology development of Q-Cells’ wafer-based silicon products.
